India Conducts Surgical Strike Across LoC: All Party Meeting Ends

The all party meet conducted after India strikes back at Pakistan launching surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on the terror groups which were in efforts to infiltrate the border and entering Indian territory.

In the all party meeting, all the leaders of the various political parties were invited by the government to brief them about the surgical strikes that were conducted across the LoC.

Reports said that although no detailed briefing was given to the party leaders, they were told about the operation and informed that the additional details will be given in coming period. DGMO Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh along with National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval briefed the leaders of the political parties in the meeting, which was chaired by Home minister Rajnath Singh.

Earlier, early morning on Thursday Indian special forces carried out surgical strikes simultaneously at multiple places which were under scanner since last few days and eliminated about 30-40 terrorists. According to Pakistani media reports, 2 Pakistani soldiers were also killed in the strikes, although reports said around 9-10 have been injured. The special forces also destroyed all the

The Special Forces were paraglided to the target, reports said, at around 12.30 in the morning. The forces successfully carried out the operation and returned back at 4.30 am into the Indian territory without taking any damage on their side.

However, Pakistani authorities has denied surgical strike by Indian forces and claimed that two Pakistani soldiers have been killed in cross-border firing by the Indian forces.

According to the reports, the United States has released a statement and said that it will not intervene in the recent issue as it is a bilateral issue and has refused Pakistan’s request to intervene into India’s strike against Pakistan.

India has maintained that the forces conducted an anti-terrorists operation and it is not against the Pakistan force but all those who interfered in the fight between Indian forces and the terrorists.

The Indian forces along the border, BSF, Air Force bases along Kashmir are on high alert for any retaliation from the Pakistani side.
