Rahul Gandhi Found Sleeping In Lok Sabha During Gujarat Dalit Protests Issue

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi found sleeping in Lok Sabha on Wednesday when Home minister Rajnath Singh was speaking on Dalit unrest in Una, Gujarat, where the former is set to visit on Thursday.

When his party leader Mallikarjun Kharge and fellow MPs were shouting and objecting to Home minister’s remarks over Dalit protests in Gujarat, the scion of Congress found sleeping with his forehead resting in his palm, in the television footage.

The incident happened when all the Congress MPs were raising loud voices over the issue. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi threw attack on the government over the issue in Parliamentary party meeting.

However, this is not the first time Rahul Gandhi caught sleeping in Parliament.

Meanwhile, The Gujarat Unit of Congress had a meeting with Gujarat governor O P Kohli on Tuesday and demanded judicial probe into the incident.
