Ramdev's vulgarity faces fresh FIR

During Monday, the Election Commission banned Baba Ramdev's camps in Chamba and Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh even as a fresh FIR was filed against the yoga guru in Patna over his contentious honeymoon remark counter to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.

The most recent EC action against Ramdev comes a day subsequent to the poll panel banned all his programmes in Lucknow till the elections were over. FIRs were filed against Ramdev in Lucknow and Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh as well as in Ahmedabad in Gujarat over his remarks that had fan the flames of massive outrage with the many parties demanding strong action against Ramdev for his "anti-Dalit" remark even if he later expressed regret for his statement.

Additionally, Senior JD (U) leader and Bihar Minister Shyam Rajak filed yet another FIR against Ramdev over his remarks on Rahul Gandhi and demanded his arrest. The case was filed in Patna under SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act in addition to the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Absolute prominent fact that Ramdev, who is supporting BJP in the ongoing general elections, had on April 25 said, Rahul Gandhi goes to houses of Dalits for honeymoon and picnic.
