Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Lal Krishna Advani resigned from his responsibilities in the party- membership in the Parliamentary Board, Election Committee and as National Executive.

Advani who kept away from the Working Committee Meeting of BJP at Goa expressed his dissatisfaction in his letter to the President of the party Rajnath Singh towards the way BJP is functioning.   He wrote in his letter that BJP at present is not the same as it was created with ideals by Shaym Prasad Mookerjee , Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Atal Behari Vajpaye but going with personal agendas.  

Advani declared that he cannot adjust with the party with the way it is functioning ignoring principles and ideals with which it was created originally.
