Jagan losing ground in home district: DL

In the wake of reports that most of the MLAs owing allegiance to the YSR congress party are set to return to the congress fold, health minister DL Ravindra Reddy said that the Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy has been losing support even in his home district.

Speaking to reporters in Kadapa today, Ravindra reddy said that three MLAs of Kadapa district, who announced their loyalty to Jagan, have decided to return to the congress party raising a question mark over his political future.

“Three MLAs from the district have already contacted us and will soon return to the party fold,” he said.

There are reports that 19 MLAs out of the total of 26 congress MLAs who resigned in favour of Jagan are set to rejoin the congress camp. These MLAs have reportedly decided to quit the Jagan camp as they are unhappy with the working style of Jagan. They are also unsure of their political future in the event of Jagan being arrested by the CBI.
